The Savvy Negotiator™ Workshop Part One

This is the first part of a two part workshop designed to (1) improve participants’ negotiation skills; (2) the negotiated outcomes they produce; and (3) your return on investment. This interactive workshop examines each participant's current negotiation style along with the elements of the negotiation process. We use simulated negotiations to accelerate learning and improve retention. The workshop takes negotiation from the intermediate level to some advanced subjects. The Savvy Negotiator™ Workshop Part Two

In this workshop we build on the examination and discussion of the negotiation process we began in Part I. In Part II, we drill deeper into strategy and tactics including the development of strategies for use in tough, challenging negotiations. Some of the subjects we address include: dealing with difficult people, developing smart concessions, and barriers to effective communication. Participants takeaway the ability to develop strategies for use in the most demanding situations. We also examine the roles and goals of negotiation team members. Many negotiators believe that this aspect of negotiation can be as challenging the actual negotiation.
